About Us

About Us

We are the Episcopal church in the vibrant heart of Downtown Milford, Connecticut. Our parish has existed since colonial times, and our current building was dedicated in 1851 to serve as a house of prayer for all people.

We are a vibrant and diverse community of people who are passionate about loving God and loving our Neighbor. We gather for worship and celebration in the Episcopal tradition, and offer faith formation programs for children of God of all ages, from birth through all stages of life.

St. Peter's is growing.  We are in a season of renewal at St. Peter's, and invite you to take part in the new life we're experiencing. Whether you're a young family looking for a place to raise your children faithfully, a retired couple who have just moved into town, or you're a single person looking seeking community and sacred space, you are welcome here.

Sunday Services are at 8:00 a.m. (without music) and 10:00 a.m. (with music). Sunday School begins after a short children’s message, the children and teachers join us at communion.

We also offer a midweek Communion Service with prayers for Healing on Wednesdays at 12:00 pm in our beautiful chapel.

God is doing a new thing at St. Peter's and we invite you to join it!

Then Jesus said to them, "Follow Me and I will make you fish for people." Matthew 4:19
